Jason Grigsby wrote a good blog about browser usage on iOS and Android. With mobile devices being used more and more to surf the web it’s quite interesting to see what browsers are used the most and how. With more Android smartphones sold you would think Android would easily take home the price. But according to Grigsby’s analysis of Akamai’s data is isn’t the case.
When looking at the browser usage on cellual networks Android and iOS actually don’t differ that much, despite more Android devices having being sold.
When looking at the usage on Wifi it’s even more extreme. iOS easily beats Android. Grigsby has some good idea’s why this is.
